Vinay's practice spans complex family proceedings and civil litigation, with particular expertise in contested inheritance claims. He has helped many bereaved families resolve painful disputes, and acted in the nationally reported case of Banfield v Campbell [2018]. Alongside his practice as a solicitor, Vinay is a registered Notary Public, regulated by the Faculty Office of the Archbishop of Canterbury. His second book, examining inheritance disputes, is due for publication in the Autumn. He writes and speaks regularly on a wide range of legal subjects. Beyond the office, Vinay sits on the boards of several charities and acts as a pro bono adviser to a number of charitable institutions. He is honoured to serve as His Majesty's Deputy Lieutenant for Hertfordshire. Away from the law, Vinay writes poetry, runs and tends a much loved garden. He also graciously loses to his son at golf.
