I am the head of BWL's Dispute Resolution Practice, based in London. I am an experienced solicitor advocate and mediator and have worked in disputes since 2003. I practice mainly in the areas of general commercial and construction litigation however my experienced extends across group litigation, company and partnership disputes, and banking and regulatory investigations. I have extensive experience of litigating in the High and County Courts as well as pursuing matters through arbitration, adjudication and mediation. I have worked on disputes and projects internationally including the USA, Germany, Saudi Arabia and Australia. In 2019 I passed the Higher Rights (Civil) qualification and qualified as a Solicitor Advocate, allowing me to appear on behalf of clients in the higher courts in England and Wales. I am also an accredited mediator. I am strong believer in the benefits of mediation as a method of resolving disputes and am happy to accept appointment as a mediator or act as a mediation advocate for parties participating in mediation.

Construction Dispute
Due to an ongoing dispute with a tier one contractor, it became necessary to engage BWL.
From initial consultation, BWL acted with great professionalism and kept our costs to a minimum.
The adjudication ruled in our/BWL's favour and a settlement was reached promptly.
I would highly recommend Richard and the team and will not hesitate to use them in the future.
