I am a Solicitor in the Crime Department at Duncan Lewis Solicitors. I specialise in Criminial Law and I qualified as a Duty Solicitor in February 2007. I have extensive experience in a wide range of criminal cases both as an advocate in the Magistrates Courts and as a Litigator. My expertise and experience includes cases involving: murder, attempted murder, homicide, rape, Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH), female genital mutilation (FGM) and other violent offences. I also have experience of cases involving the importation of controlled drugs and the conspiracy to supply drugs, the possession of firearms, fraud, robbery and burglary, cases involving indecent images and the possession of dangerous dogs. I have higher rights of audience which allows me to appear before the Crown Court in applications for bail, preliminary hearings and committal for sentence. I have Criminal Litigation Accreditation which means I have a specialist level of knowledge, skills, experience and practice in the area of criminal litigation as required by the Law Society. My proficiency of Yoruba and German has proved of great value in effectively communicating with clients who struggle to communicate in English.
