I used this firm for the sale of my deceased father’s house as I had probate. Joanne had already dealt with alterations to my father’s will before he passed and was great.
Jennie dealt mostly with the conveyancing and the service was amazing. It was a difficult time for me, with my father passing away and lockdown interfering with progress of the sale, but Jennie was always on hand to answer queries. It was also a difficult sale due to complications with Registry over the land but again Jennie was very supportive and offered solutions and acted on them promptly.
Completion was also difficult but Joanne dealt with that speedily and professionally.
I would highly recommend this firm. Not only are they extremely professional and thorough but they are also friendly and personable, never too far away when you need them and nothing is too much trouble.
Thank you Joanne and Jennie so much for getting me through a tough time.

Recently had our wills re-done by Joanne who was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything to us in a way that we could clearly understand. Everything in the will was done exactly as we had asked her to do within a matter of days. A modern, friendly and professional solicitors who I would highly recommend.

Excellent advice
Joanne reviewed a will (that I adapted from a USA will) to advise whether it could be used in the UK. She provided sound advice and charged a fair fee. She even offered to credit that fee toward a new will if I needed it.
More importantly, Joanne figured out that I could greatly benefit from tax and investment guidance (I just relocated to the UK but have assets in the USA). She offered to refer me to an investment specialist and help me find an accountant. I just spoke with the investment specialist and greatly appreciate the referral.
Joanne anticipated that my selected investment strategy might impact the type of will I need. She didn't rush me into getting a will. Her smart well-planned legal approach is exactly what I need.

Friendly and professional staff
All the staff were friendly yet very professional. Joanne was so warm and down to earth when I first met her and she made everything seem simple but was also very sensitive to the situation. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Bury’s solicitors to everyone.
