This firm has gone downhill MASSIVELY since Mr Hawkridge Senior retired. To say they are “old school” is to put things politely. They have no sense of who their customers are nor, in the context of conveyancing at least, the one point in the entire process when their “client” will be particularly sensitive and keen for responses/action - i.e. when exchange of contracts is imminent and hence all other important steps are set in stone. To crown it al, to receive in 2022 an automated email response saying that emails will be treated “in the same way as ‘regular’ postal communications” - says it all. If you want a letter written, or a memo drafted, this lot are your firm. If you want something done in a timely and customer-focussed way, go elsewhere to a firm which has at least entered the 1990s if not the 2020s. Never again. Bring back Mr Hawkridge Senior!!!!

Traumatic experience, this solicitor's email was intercepted and I paid a huge amount of money into a fraudsters account. This solicitor has no single human feeling, no sympathy even after that, I had to look for money, borrowed, etc to ensure completion takes place, I was treated like an animal , my health declined, I was placed on medication as I've lost over 40k. Still this solicitor would not complete asking where I got money from despite showing that friends and my partner helped me look for another money. The worst human treatment I've even seen in my life! Terrible. Avoid them if you need your mental health intact. Still refusing to respond to my email . They even lied my bank did not get back to them after 3 days, not knowing I spoke to the bank and was told they responded within an hour. I can write a book on my experience with this firm. Awful, terrible , dishonest, wicked .....
