James & West Law took my case after my Union declined to support me, Michael got straight to work and took all the information regarding my case to formulate a ‘letter before action’ to my former Employer on time to launch with ACAS. Was easy to liaise with Michael to co-ordinate responses with my former Employer. He was laser focused and not distracted by anything trying to knock him off his game. On a phone interview with the opposing solicitor and judge Michael was sharp and pushed back when needed directing the judge to the correct pages of relevant paperwork being discussed. My ET1 was put together well, I only had to tweak around the edges with all interactions with my former Employer, Michael’s knowledge of Employment law was a key asset and the responses were always well written and strong. There was plenty of notice about payments and done so in a polite manner. Overall I’m very happy with my experience and would gladly recommend Michael Ballantyne, Francesca West and James & West Law for whistleblowers in need of legal support. A job well done.

Would thoroughly recommend
Michael provided me with a very professional service throughout my case. He was knowledgeable, especially in respect of tribunal situations, and clear in his approach ensuring I always understood the process and the next steps. I will also add that he was approachable, accessible and kind and I felt supported throughout as he guided me carefully through the situation. Michael took the time to share the details of my case with his colleagues at regular intervals to provide a well rounded perspective. I would thoroughly recommend Michael and James and West Law.
