I used Crosby & Woods for the sale of a house and Probate. I would NOT recommend them to anyone!
Daniel Curry was great with the house sale right up until the end when he advised £10k more than there actually was went into the probate account. As the executor, this really complicated things as I advised the wrong amount to the beneficiaries.
David Crosby was really helpful and responsive at the beginning, and then dropped off the face of the earth. I never received a call back, and only received responses to emails after I made a complaint or said I was going to write to the ombudsman.
I honestly wish I’d have dealt with probate myself, it would have been a lot less stressful.
I don’t normally write bad reviews, but I wouldn’t want anyone else to have to deal with this when the death of a loved one is already a difficult thing to deal with.
