Amicus Law in Minehead handled our recent house purchase this month with class & speed. Amicus Law is a new kind of “Open Door” law firm that is much more approachable and friendly than the firms where you have to buzz to be let into reception and then you get the cold shoulder until they decide you might be a real client. We were presented with this exact situation when we needed a solicitor to handle the purchase of our house. We went to the street where the lawyers are in town and there was a closed law firm door and Amicus’ open door next to each other, and presented with the choice we walked into the open door of Amicus. Amicus doesn’t look like the leather wingback chesterfield firm that you expect from lawyers offices because it is friendly and there are posters about explaining what they do. The décor is simple and not expensive and a completely refreshing contrast to the stuffy expensive atmosphere of unapproachable lawyers. They really are happy to help which is unheard of today. If you want a smooth, well informed, very quick conveyance on your new house purchase/sale at a no-nonsense reasonable price then we recommend Ruth Richardson of the Minehead office of Amicus Law. Amicus has many offices and hopefully you will be lucky enough to have one near you. We clearly are very pleased with the service we got from Amicus and will be using them again for sure.

Excellent
We were recommended Amicus Law Solicitors by friends. We used the online portal and with help and guidance from Ruth Richardson we navigated our way. We found it really quick and made things so much easier. My First Property Experience
When I was purchasing my first property, I didn't really have a clue what I was doing or what I needed to do to sort it all out. Luckily, Ruth explained what I needed to do and when, and guided me throughout the whole process from start to completion. 10/10 professionalism and service from Ruth and the wider Amicus team!

A very excellent service
I would certainly recommend Amicus Law. I found their service extremely helpful and professional, and Ruth explained all processes of buying a property very clearly. This was the first time I had used this company.

Excellent service!
It was our first experience, as we were purchasing our first property but Ruth made it so seamless and made it very easy and clear from the very beginning right to completion date in such a stressful time. Ruth was always available and very prompt in answering emails/calls, kept us in the loop with every step of the process. Excellent service and very professional representation of the whole office, we can't praise Amicus Law enough for such a great experience!
