Shehnaz Malik

Family Law Paralegal

Shehnaz graduated with an undergraduate law degree from the University of Kent in 2022 and went on to complete the Legal Practice Course (LPC) and Master of Laws at the University of Law in London. Her LLM project focused on reframing support for families following parental separation. This reflects her commitment to exploring the intersection of law and real-world impact. Alongside her studies, Shehnaz has developed practical legal experience, including recent experience as a paralegal specialising in family law. In this role, she worked closely with clients navigating complex and emotionally sensitive matters, enabling her to communicate with clarity, empathy and professionalism. Shehnaz's passion for access to justice and intersectional feminism informs her legal perspective and motivates her to pursue a career where law is used as a tool for meaningful change. She is also part of the Aziz Foundation alumni, as she was a recipient of the fully funded scholarship for her Masters course. Shehnaz is personal and collaborative and outside of work, she enjoys yoga and pilates, travelling, photography and spending times with loved ones.
