Amy is one of our family law solicitors, specialising predominantly in public law matters (Care Proceedings) and joined our team in September 2024. Amy completed her law degree in 2023 from BPP Law School. Whilst completing her law degree, Amy worked as a paralegal before moving onto train in family law. Whilst studying, Amy was a representative for the Student Liaison Committee. She also partook in a number of international debate competitions as part of her university’s Model United Nations team and has won awards for her contributions. Amy also has a background in Philosophy, notably Moral Philosophy and Feminist Philosophy, and Political Science, having completed a Master’s in Philosophy at King’s College London and a Bachelor’s in Political Science at the University of Zurich in Switzerland respectively. Amy has experience working on highly complex cases involving sensitive issues such as: parental alienation, domestic abuse, sexual abuse, mental health or capacity issues. Amy is known for her compassionate and empathetic approach with clients. She is sensitive to the unique needs of her clients and adaptive to the circumstances of each case. Amy is bilingual and speaks fluent English and German and in her spare time she enjoys reading, going for walks, and watching documentaries, and learning how to play every Taylor Swift song on her guitar.
