Very helpful especially reception staff. She always telephone to let us know of any changes.

Buying a house
The experience with Micheal cook law was excellent and clair kept me upto date all the way and was very helpful on what I needed to do at each step of the way.

Quick but some issues
Quick completion on my house however communication was an issue, it was a bad breakup resulting in the house sale which they were aware of however only my ex seemed to receive contact (the questions from buyer etc) only emailed I ever received was to confirm completion dates. Also the completion statement was incorrect which I had to point out and get rectified.

Hi, I am so sorry you felt that there were communication problems during your transaction. We are pleased there was an amicable outcome with regards to your sale however we always take client's concerns over communication very seriously. I have looked into your transaction and the discrepancy with regards to the completion statement amounted to £0.01p which had to be allocated against one party and unfortunately a decision had to be made. I also understand that there was a query with telegraphic transfer fees, again there were 3 and these were incurred as sale proceeds were sent to yourself, your ex partner and your mortgage redemption. However, we are satisfied that your transaction completed without hindrance and to a speedy resolution.

Selling of property
Having used other solicitors in the past I didn’t have the best experience. However my experience was Michael Cook was the complete opposite. They kept me updated throughout the whole process of selling my property which was the most important thing to me.

Highly recommended.
The sale of our apartment was handled by Claire Henry. The whole process was thorough and efficient, a smooth transaction from start to finish. Claire was always quick to reply to any queries and we were really pleased with the whole transaction.
