Born and raised in Carlisle, Codie attended Richard Rose Morton Academy and chose to study law at sixth form. He decided, after a year of studying, that he would apply to law firms. Wragg Mark-Bell Solicitors was able to offer Codie a job. Codie was a Business Admin Apprentice for one year and progressed into the crime department to assist criminal solicitors and barristers in various cases at the crown court. Codie then became fully qualified to represent clients at the police station in June 2016. After working in the crime department for 2 years, Codie decided to experience another area of law. In October 2016, he started working in the Conveyancing Department as a Conveyancing Assistant. Alongside this, he also progressed onto studying with the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx). Codie is now an Associate Member of CILEx and currently studying to complete his remaining Level 6 exams to become a fully qualified legal executive.
