Terrible exoerience dealing with this company. Files sent couldnt be opened, no follow through on items and very in terms of communications. People didnt seem qualified and had a very poor grasp of technology. Complained at the end but they honestly didnt care. Very unprofessional

Used Gordon’s to take take of my remortgage and also pay off help to buy loan. The other parties wasn’t very helpful but Gordon’s was on the phone or chatting through the app constantly. Any questions were answered within a couple of hours and they never left me waiting around. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

Scam Company - Phishing Attempt!
Gordons Property Lawyers emailed both of us out of the blue, to say there were acting on behalf of our bank we're remortgaging with. They didn't provide any identifying information at all, like a partial postcode or a reference number, and they said that they'd tried to call both of us - guess what? Zero missed calls on any phones.
But what they did say is we had to click a link to "urgently upload your documents within 24 hours" such as our passports and financial information. This is a classic scam technique, to pressure you into giving away information due to a time limit.
We already have our own solicitors, which our bank knows, and our bank did not give us any heads up this company would be in touch - so until someone from the bank tells us this company is genuine, we're ignoring them as the scam artists they appear to be.

Absolute disgrace! Started my remortgage mid December and it’s still not finished yet….i am paying a fortune because of their mistakes and incompetence!
They barely answer the phone after hours of wait and never reply to emails! I ended up chasing the paperwork that is needed in their place !
DO NOT USE their services!!!!!

We should have options for zero star if not negative...
Avoid this company. I got this one by my broker, and boy how incompetent they are! My broker chased them for weeks to start the process, and once started, they send hundred different documents asking all kinds of fee. There's no structure or priority on what should be done first, just fees, fees and more fees.
After calling them to pay some fees (not possible for any engagement if not paying), I was told the case is too complicated and they are closing the files.
What a joke!!!!!

This company is a disgrace. Not fit for purpose. They ended up refunding me there entire fee as compensation. A simple remortgage became very expensive when they delayed it so much and it defaulted to a fixed variable rate. If you are able to then go with another firm. Alan Skelly was my case handler. He continually let me down. All that time on spent hold I will never get back. They never return your call and rarely email. Once a month at best.
