James and his team are friendly, efficient and professionally dealt with the sale of my property very quickly without any problems. I was always kept informed of the progress and any questions were swiftly answered. He was able to offer sound advice when needed which was very much appreciated. I have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending James for any matters relating to the sales and purchases of properties.

Misdrafted a relative's will resulting in loss of £200,000 to the estate and then lied about it and trying to reclaim the money from beneficiaries. Legal Ombudsman made unprecedented award against them and they still will not admit their basic error. Still advertising as experts in wills and probate. Charlatans.

James Baker and staff has done an excellent job for us with our house purchases and sale. They always kept us informed of progress.

James Baker dealt with our (abortive) conveyancing. I found him to be very professional and efficient in his advice and was kept up to date on matters progressing. Unlike some other solicitors I have dealt with, he was personable and approachable and always made himself accessible if I ever telephoned the office. Would certainly recommend.

Unprofessional, rude, arrogant! These are the only words to describe a Company that does not respond to e-mails or respond to the complaints procedure as set out in their own "Code of Conduct". Service is non existent. They took 5 years salary from an intestacy estate, during which time, benefactors were sent one letter notifying them of very little. Sandra Lanaway was very dismissive of my original complaint and has been very unprofessional in not responding to my requests to provide copies of invoices from a particular company. Nor has she responded to my official complaint.

A huge thank you to James Baker and Nicola Holland at Cooper Lingard. After our first purchase fell through, they supported us through a second property purchase and were incredibly helpful throughout. They worked hard to move things along as quickly as possible and kept us updated. We really appreciate all their help and would highly recommend them!
