I've been a client of McGlashan Mackay Solicitors for some time now, and my experience has always been great. Recently, I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Paulo as my solicitor, and I couldn't be more pleased. He was very helpful and made the entire process go smoothly.

I have been dealing with this firm for the past 7 years, since I have initially moved to Glasgow.
Dealt with various solicitors up until I reached to the stage of applying for naturalisation a few months ago.

I would like to thank Mr “Paulo Nunes” he was very kind and understanding, and offered the best possible service and advice.

I highly recommend dealing with the firm not had any issues with them over the full 7 years journey, in fact had a spectacular experience !!!

Very poor service from Mustafa Baig who I met to discuss my immigration status and application. On our first meeting he advised me to go on 20 years route despite me already being on the 10 year route, when I said there is still 6 years left in that and I don’t want to wait that long. He advised that he will have a meeting with the panel about my case. I was told that I would receive an invoice for £1200 + vat which I confirmed would be paid as soon as the invoice was received (still waiting for the invoice).
Over the phone he confirmed that the overall consensus was that they were happy to submit my application and advised me to do my life in the uk test and so that he could submit my application. I went and done my Life in UK test and sent the confirmation ref over. He then After that he kept continuing changing desicion either we can file my ILR now and then on second instance no we can’t do it now. Speaking to him after couple of weeks was a nightmare over the message he said on our next meeting we need to file ILR. We had a meeting where he then advised that he again had feedback from the panel and if we were to submit an ILR application then it would most likely not be accepted. This was a shock to me as the initial meetings were very positive and he was confident there was something that could be done.I had heard good reviews about this firm but the service that I have received is well below the standard that I was expecting. I feel my time has been wasted and given false hopes by tho firm. My advice would be to avoid and go to a firm who are more helpful and give accurate advice.
