Absolutely horrified with this company, following my mums passing was advised the confirmation would take a few weeks, this turned into several long months.
They lost legal paperwork, got mums details wrog (date of death and place of death)
Constantly was having to contact them
This process started on the 4th january 2023
Nearly lost sale of house due to the mistakes
And yesterday recieved the invoice with a letter stating they had mislaid the invoice and only have realised it was not sent
Avoid at all costs

The most stressful part of selling my house was dealing with McGregor MacLeod. Everything was last minute and very little got done unless I pushed for it to be done. Staff left and nobody bothered to tell me or carry on working on my case. I had to do a lot of the work myself. I had gone to them after a horrendous experience with my previous solicitor but they turned out to be even worse. I couldn’t possibly recommend this firm to anyone. My advice would be to try somewhere else, anywhere else!
