Where do I start. Taken in completely by Adam Libah, after he took on a case for my partner and me, he promised the earth, spouted all sorts of what turned to complete rubbish on the sales call to me. We had left a previous firm as they weren’t able to represent both of us due to a conflict. Adam didn’t contact relevant people on my side of the case for around 6 weeks, he told me that he had senior contacts in the CPS and the various government agencies and they “wouldn’t know what hit them”, none of this came to fruition, just an occasional nicely worded email, but then rude, condascending on the phone. He charged extortionately for a pre charge engagement, he never engaged with my partners side, not once in 6 months, yet I was able to get a text back from the officer in a day, claiming they had no response, and when I questioned this he told me my request was like a broken pencil. I met with his colleague, Malik, who seemed to know his stuff, but Adam, who I understand from my new firm, was let go by them very quickly in my honest opinion completely scammed me out of that money, charged for work not done, extortionate fees and did no work on my partners side. When I complained they said that it was fixed fee and that that they wouldn’t uphold my complaint. I saw a bad review about him on the internet but after the initial call where he promised the earth, he is very convincing, I gave him a shot. Worst move ever. Most importantly sensitive information was read aloud in open court and urgent instructions that jeopardise me were not followed and have subsequently led to serious consequences, for this, he been reported to the law society. When questioned about lack of getting things, I got a response from his paralegal that he was always very busy in court and that and being ill. Of course I understand they are busy and everyone gets ill, but he just took the biscuit and should have cover if you are taking that kind of money from someone. You will see from his website, that his website, shows the team of what consists of just three solicitors and delusions of grandeur with 100 locations, when in actual fact, is working out of a serviced office in London. Steer clear if I were you.
