I'm a first time buyer and the entire process seemed quite daunting to me. My broker Ross Culley of Capricorn recommended John's services and greatly praised his extremely professional attitude and work ethics, and I can only second his words: John provided absolutely outstanding service, explaining each and every step of the rather complex process in my particular case, he gave me extremely valuable advise, informed and warned me about potential issues making sure they were fully resolved before proceeding. Most importantly, while I have heard about solicitors not replying to their clients for weeks or even months, John was extremely reliable and responsive, usually getting back to me within minutes including later in the evening and on several occasions also on the weekend. This gave me a lot of peace of mind, and I cannot thank him enough for this. My entire experience with John in particular and Healys LLP in general has been so positive that I have already recommended their services to several of my colleagues who are thinking about buying property as well.

Not sure where to start really, after 2 years and many thousands of pounds just trying to kick off some litigation Healys have proven to be the biggest waste of time and money out of the dozen or so solicitors I have used for various business litigation.

After waiting weeks or months for replies to emails from DB, asking why I continue to be billed without showing me what was being done I pulled the plug.

The first email response was to tell me I still owed them money, but they will not send me the invoice or tell me what they did but insist that I pay them or they will hold my files hostage.

After over 2 months they refused my official request for my personal information, so I have reported them to the ICO.

After wasting another 2 months going back and forth with the owner JH, I am no further along and am now spending my time filling in online reviews in the hopes that anyone else looking to use their services avoids them as they are unethical and will bill you whatever they want whenever they want and look down their noses at you when you question anything they do.

Look elsewhere, plenty of firms with better communication and billing practices.
