I recently had the displeasure of dealing with this firm of solicitors for a personal injury claim, and I can honestly say it was one of the most disappointing, upsetting and frustrating experiences of my life. From the outset, their communication was appalling. I was constantly chasing them for updates, and when I did manage to get through, the information was often vague and unhelpful.

Their legal advice seemed questionable at best. I have been dealing with this company since May 2024 and they seemed unwilling to put in the necessary effort to build a strong argument to the point that when the claim was due to go to court, they decided they no longer wished to work with myself and are now trying to charge me nearly £10,000 for their costs even though they are supposedly a no win no fee company. I felt like they were just going through the motions, with no real commitment to achieving a positive outcome for me.

As a result of their incompetence, my case dragged on for over a year, incurring significant additional costs. In the end, I was left with no choice but to take a loan to pay £2500 to the defendant solicitor’s and I am now having to fight to not pay national accident law over nearly £10,000. I put my trust in my case handler who reviewed documents for myself and ensured me all was okay however they are now claiming I breached my contract with themselves which is completely untrue and extremely hurtful. I would strongly advise anyone considering using this firm to look elsewhere. Their lack of professionalism and expertise will only lead to disappointment and financial loss. As a young woman, this has made me extremely suicidal as I am under immense stress due to their professional negligence. This company is trying to bully me into paying funds I do not have.

My biggest regret is ever having any dealings with this awful company and not reading reviews beforehand as this seems to be a common occurrence.

Since my accident in 2022 where I was clipped by a cyclist and ended up with a fractured pelvis nothing has been done . When call to speak to someone , nobody picks up and answering machine tells you to leave a message to Andrew Rate which believe is not a real person.
Then I log in into my account and ask for an update. I will automatically receive a reply we are working on it . Which I doubt.
Honestly, NAL is the worst law firm I have ever come across.!

No calls back regarding my claim. Doesn’t receive calls. I was supposed to receive my money a month ago but still haven’t. Poor service.

ABSOLUTELY DREADFUL. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS. DO NOT READ ANONYMOUS REVIEWS AS THEY ARE FAKE. I WISH I NEVER DEALT WITH THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY. THEY TOOK 7 MONTHS AT ONE STAGE JUST TO RESPOND AFTER I SENT NUMEROUS MESSAGES. I WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT AND THEY WILLINGLY TOOK MY CASE ON WITHOUT INVESTIGATING. THEY SENT ME TO 2 X INDEPENDANT MEDICAL OFFICERS WHO CONFIRMED MY INJURIES. ALSO MY DOCTOR WAS CONTACTED ON THE DAY OF THE ACCIDENT AND NOTED MY CONDITIONS. LASTLY MY PHYSIOTHERAPIST HAS ALL HIS NOTES SINCE 2022 AND CONFIRMED HIS EXPERTISE ON MY TREATMENT. I HAVE COMPLAINED TWICE TO NAL COMPLAINTS TEAM WHO HAVE "UPHELD" MY COMPLAINTS DUE TO THEIR POOR COMMUNICATION, LACK OF EMPATHY, POOR SERVICE, TERRIBLE ADVICE. AS SOON AS I TOLD THEM IN SEPTEMBER I WONT BE PAYING THEIR 35% COMMISSION THEY TURNED ON ME. THEY WERE HOPING TO GET ME OVER £4000 BUT NOW THEY ARE STATING THAT I AM "FUNDEMENTALLY DISHONEST" AND BREACHED THEIR CONTRACT. THEY HAVE NOW INVOICED ME £4200 WHICH IS TOTALLY SHOCKING, DISTRESSING AND DISGUISTING. I HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT THIS INVOICE AS I HAVE TOLD THE TRUTH AND HAVE EVIDENCE BACKING ME UP. I EVEN TOLD THEM TO CLOSE MY CASE IN JUNE 2024 AS I WAS FED UP. WHICH THEY IGNORED. THEY HAVE NOW INVOICED ME £2300 TO PAY WITHIN 14 DAYS. ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING. I HAVE NOW COMPLAIINED TO THE FINANCIAL OMBUDSMEN AND SOLICITORS REGULARATORY AUTHORITY (SRA). NAL HAVE CAUSED ME IMMENSE STRESS, ANXIETY AND MENTAL STRESS WITH SLEEPLESS NIGHTS. I WILL FIGHT THEM TO THE BITTER END AS I AM THE VICTIM AND HAVE TOLD THE TRUTH.

I'll keep it simple. This company should not be trading. Communication poor. Online system only so noone talks to you. All they want is money and not the best outcome for the client. I'm taking NAL to small claims for falling my claim at every step. Read the honest review and not the annomonus ones!

Good service with good communication. Great at giving advice and explaining procedures.

Patricia Westwalewicz was really patient dealing with my case . I believe she battled hard to get the compensation that I finally received. She was placed under a lot of pressure down to my poor timing management and still pulled through for me .
