Sale of house that fell through once, but persistence paid off

This is the second time I have used G&F for conveyancing and the process is as smooth as the first. Despite the first sale falling through the team picked up with the original information and processed the follow up sale without repetition and with the absolute minimum of fuss.

Should I ever need conveyancing services again I will ensure G&F are my first port of call.

Calm, efficient and common sense

We chose G&F as they were local and had a good reputation. As with many house sales towards the end there was a lot of pressure and stress. Beth and her team were great, calm, responsive and very efficient. There were no hiccups on the day of exchange and everything went smoothly. I would say that G&F were also really good value for money when compared to other quotes we received. I would recommend them.

Clare Godden, with the help of Beth, was outstanding from start to finish.
Clare communicated regularly and responded to questions promptly and in terms I could easily understand.
When deadlines needed to be met towards the end, Clare achieved what I thought was impossible and remained calm and positive.
I can thoroughly recommend Clare and Beth.

Poor service.Advice not given no 'hand holding for the new and distressing experience of arrest and trial, awful barrister who was ambushed at the trial and huge £5000 fees for both lawyer and barrister for failing to get me off and ending up in prison for a nothing crime. I had the impression the lawyer was not on my side except to get huge money, the only profession you ate paid the same for failure or success
A bill arrived from legal aid months after sentencing don't know why

About this branch

Description

Goodhand & Forsyth was established in 1985 with two Partners, initially operating out of Horley, shortly thereafter opening the Redhill office, and more recently Guildford. The founding partners are Keith Goodhand and David Forsyth. Goodhand & Forsyth has four Departments: The Criminal Department, Family Department, Wills and Probate Department and the Conveyancing Department. In addition the structured departments, we operate "The Law Shop" in Redhill, which provides a free initial advice on an appointment basis and can be arranged through reception. The Law Shop is situated on the ground floor of the Redhill office, with easy wheelchair access. Our main office is located centrally in Redhill, with a 5 minute walk from the mainline Railway station and easy access to local bus routes. There are also a number of car parks giving easy access to the office. At Goodhand and Forsyth Solicitors, your legal peace of mind is our highest priority. We're more than just a law firm—we're a part of your support system, providing you with the reassurance and legal expertise you need when it matters most.
