Rent suspension covers temporary reductions or pauses in rent due under a commercial lease, typically in response to downturns or exceptional events. A solicitor in this area helps negotiate concessions, drafts variation documents, and applies to the landlord for a rent holiday or reduced rent with service charge adjustments, rent reviews, and other lease terms aligned to the concession. They coordinate with the landlord, tenant, and professional advisers to secure a formal variation or deed of amendment that records the suspension and its duration and conditions.

We have moved house a few times in the past, and used a few different solicitors in doing so. Alex G at MW has been the most helpful of all. We had a few issues/complications which we had not encountered before, and Alex always explained clearly and promptly to our many enquiries. We would highly recommend MW based on this experience.

The whole team at Pardoes were really good. It was a long winded process to complete the purchase of an indusrial unit in Somerton, which was not of Pardoes making, but they got us over the line to completion. We are more than happy with their various staff and I even use then for my own personal needs e.g. wills etc.
