Some three years ago after my mother’s death I was accused of very serious allegations regarding a minor. This with other traumatic incidences in my life at the time led to a mental breakdown. Albin and Co were recommended to me by a family friend. I was going through a divorce at the time and Sally Wood was assigned to my case and dealt with the resolution in a swift and efficient manner. Her personal support left me in no doubt I had made the correct choice engaging Albin & Co. Regarding the allegations against me. Chris Albin was more than sympathetic and helpful at the start obviously understanding the trauma I was under. Chris appointed Karla Simms and we met several times and had many calls in and out of normal working hours. Karla supported me and I will add 'gone the extra mile' making the process easier to deal with. Each time we met Karla had a time to ask how I was mentally and wanted to understand how I was coping. As this was the first time I had to deal with something like this, not knowing the justice system, once more the trauma was at times overwhelming. Karla laid out clearly what the process was and helped me get through everything that was required. The data Karla asked for, the meetings we had and the way you typed and recorded all the information to present my defence was truly professional as well as caring. Even at times with a smile but always encouraging and without judgement. Karla interviewed my daughter who in turn had not been through an experience like this. Not just I, my daughter but my extended family are indebted to Karla and Chris’s hard, passionate and sensitive ways of working, thank you I wish you well.
