Javaid was very professional and easy to talk to throughout my court process. Javaid was able to talk me through the process so that I understand what would happen. I am pleased with my court result it is exactly what Javaid said would happen. Due to Javaids help he was able to reduce my legal aid contributions. He managed to negotiate a plea quickly with the Prosecution, managed to get a quick sentence hearing, this all reduced the length of time my case would take and the financial cost by way of legal aid contributions. I would highly recommend Javaid to anyone looking for a solicitor.

I had never been in trouble with the police before, but found myself wrongfully arrested and charged with five serious offences. All potentially carrying custodial sentences. The duty solicitor worked for BLJ solicitors. She supported me during my police interview and explained to me what steps were likely to follow it. I agreed for BLJ Solicitors to support me through my case. This proved to be a good decision as they took me through magistrates and Crown court hearings successfully. They also prepared my Legal Aid application for me. During this incredibly stressful 16 month period, they were available to speak with on the telephone and secured me a barrister whom I met with in person before my court case. BLJ made this horrendous period of my life much easier to cope with due to the level of support they gave me. I am happy to report that due to the tenacity and concentration of details my solicitors, The CPS decided to drop all charges against me and I was acquitted of all charges. I have no hesitation in recommending this team of solicitors to anyone unfortunate enough to find themselves in a similar position and am very grateful to them.

I recently engaged Hannah Costley after being asked to attend a voluntary police interview. Having never been in trouble of any kind before I was incredibly distressed, Hannah recognised this and was proactive in immediately making contact with the police and taking as much of the stress away as she could. Hannah was understanding, compassionate and most importantly she listened to me. Her advice was broken down in a clear and concise way so that I had a clear understanding of next steps and she kept me fully up to date with where things were upto. Thankfully and no doubt thanks to Hannah's representations the matter was closed hours after my interview however Hannah continued to advocate for me after the fact when the police tried to impose unfair conditions. When already in a very distressing situation it can feel even more overwhelming having to reach out to a legal representative for help for fear of being judged however I can assure anyone finding themselves in a similar situation to the one I was in, after just the first few minutes of speaking with Hannah you will feel completely supported and the burden will feel less! I can't thank you or recommend you enough Hannah!

We are utterly thrilled with the outcome of this case and want to thank you all on helping to successfully bring this case to a close. Andrew was absolutely brilliant - our heartiest thanks for his invaluable integrity, commitment, support and hard work. When K walked out, after a huge hug from me, two members of the jury came up to him, congratulated him, wished him well for the future and made a point of saying that they were all immediately and unanimously in agreement on the Not Guilty verdict. I asked if they were mothers and both were mothers of five! Nevertheless, we feel that there should be a further case against the police for the maltreatment, unnecessary harassment and humiliation, assault, loss of earnings and opportunities caused by this case. Dear Leanne, I can not put into words how truly amazing you have been throughout this whole situation. When Simon was arrested a huge hole was left in our family, we were do upset. You have been more than a solicitor you have been just as invested as we are in getting Simon free. You have supported us in more ways than you will ever know. For the time you worked for Simon you became part of our team our family. You always dealt with us in a caring supportive manner and you gave us hope. Our youngest son just 8 years old was so sad but he always felt happy after my husband and I have spoken to you. That was because not only did you do your job you spent the time to support us all.
