I was recommend this firm on my company website as a suitable firm to deal with divorce. With this being my first and hopefully only divorce I wanted a capable solicitor. My divorce had no children and no assets to divide so opted for a clean break. After a few months with my appointed solicitor, it was a surprise (only to me) that she went off on maternity leave and I was given Mak Singh to represent me. Initially I was reticent as I was told he was recently qualified. I had my reservations regarding his level of experience and questioned that my divorce would be handled well. However I was pleasantly surprised at Mak’s performance and high standard of professionalism. Mak remained level headed and informative in the face of intermittent instances squabbling and petulance from both sides. He responded in a timely manner to queries from me and gave a proportionate amount of updates so the entire experience wasn’t as overwhelming. I found Mak to be empathetic, he clearly had his clients best interests at heart rather than putting profit over service. Additionally, Mak was patient when repeatedly asked the same question. He has a wealth of knowledge in his chosen field and had I not known he was newly qualified I would not have been able to tell. My divorce took much longer than anticipated due to unforeseen hurdles however sometimes these things happen and I was happy that Mak and their firm did their level best to expedite proceedings and always keep me in the loop. A capable, engaging and affable solicitor that made a difficult divorce process much less horrendous! I do not expect to get divorced again but I would recommend him to a friend if they were in the fortunate or unfortunate position to be divorcing.
