We'd had a bad experience with a different solicitors about a year ago and ended up having to pull out of a sale a month before completion. However, this time round with Slater Heelis was excellent and we were so happy with the level of service and the communication. Every time we called we got through on the phone, and we were sent updates consistently so we knew exactly what we needed to do next. We managed to complete before the 1st April when the Stamp Duty threshold was lowering too which saved us a lot of money. Slater Heelis were recommended to us by a family member, and I will make sure to reccomend Slater Heelis to anyone purchasing a property in the future! Thank you to Helen and Lisa for all your help.

Kathryn always responded efficiently to my calls, emails and information I sent. Took plenty of time with me and my brother when we visited the office during a very busy March, due to the end of stamp duty deadline. Kathryn, also really helped our buyers to prevent a high increase in stamp duty to make sure completion happened on 31st March 2025.

Very impressed with Jenny and Adele at Easthams. They dealt with things promptly and kept us up to date, every step of the way. Never had to chase them. Because of the stamp duty holiday, we were told by our estate agent it could take up to 20 weeks for our house sale to go through. Easthams managed to do it in less than 7 weeks, which is amazing in current climate. Would definitely recommend them and will be using for the purchase of our next property.
