Can't praise highly enough the service that Howells Solicitors provided to my family recently - but more specifically, Amy Fiddler who was assigned to our case. When dad passed away last year we found ourselves in a position where an inquest was deemed necessary by the Coroner due to a fatal fall dad had while in the care of Barnsley Hospital. Once the reports had been prepared by the Hospital Trust it became apparent that we needed legal representation. We had no idea which Solicitors to approach but a friend (who has had dealings with Howells previously) suggested Howells - and that advice has proved invaluable. From the very first day we contacted them and spoke to Amy we knew we were in good hands. Amy first and foremost is extremely professional but in addition, very approachable, easy to talk to and she genuinely cares. This was so important to us as my mum is ninety years old and understandably she was nervous about what the Inquest would entail. Amy put her mind at rest immediately and nothing was too much trouble, being available on a direct number throughout the whole process. Amy guided us during the Inquest day and she was a huge support both professionally and emotionally - we were so thankful and she was the very reason mum was able to face up to the day. So for anyone who finds themselves in the same position as ourselves, we would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Amy Fiddler to represent you. You will not be disappointed.
