Transferring ownership means changing who holds the legal title to a property in England. A solicitor drafts and completes the transfer deed, arranges registration at HM Land Registry, checks the title, and coordinates with lenders and the other side’s conveyancer. They ensure any existing charges are discharged or registered in the new owner’s name and that the transfer is properly registered in the title records.
