We recently completed the probate of our parents estate with Poole Alcock Solicitors and we cannot recommend them highly enough. Although the whole process took two and a half years to settle due due to its complexity, the team was absolutely incredible throughout. They were very kind, supportive and consistently hard working and took 100% responsibility of the estate, which gave us peace of mind during the difficult time. This is the third time I have used Taylor and Emmet for my house conveyancing and overall I was equally happy with this experience. I did have some early frustration with trying to find the right person to answer a query I had. While I understand the increased efficiency of completing forms online, I had to try several different times to find someone who could answer my question about whether I could proceed even though the vendor had not obtained probate in order to sell the property. However, after that the work was completed smoothly and efficiently and I was kept informed during the exchange and completion phase of the transaction.

My wife and I, with no dependants, decided it was high time to make proper provisions as to how we would wish our assets to be used if either or both of us lost our ability to make rational decisions and on our passings, that our funerals could be properly arranged and our bequests go to both our friends and good causes without any hitches. Using a regulated firm of solicitors was our desired choice and following discussions at the offices of our local firm that had acted for us in property transaction previously we decided on Judge & Priestley. Russell Ali there was able to guide us through the processes needed and prepare our Wills and Powers of Attorney documents for us at a fair, fixed price. We are both more than happy with Russell's professionalism. An "excellent" rating is more than justified.
