Selling a house is a big event. I wasn't sure using an on line solicitor was a good idea. Right from the start I wasn't allocated a dedicated person in charge of my case. At every step of the way I had to push for information. The communication
was poor. Often long waits for the phone to be answered and being asked to leave messages no one responded to. Then, when nothing happened for two weeks being told my buyer's solicitors were being chased for information I knew they had already submitted. The actual exchange only occurred at the 11th hour after pressure was put on the company because for some inexplicable reason, not given, they couldn't sign off the papers for 3 days when they had everything they needed. I certainly didn't feel they were working for me, in my interests, in a timely fashion.
