I had a brilliant experience buying my first flat with Watermans and will certainly be using them again in the future. Sophie provided detailed and helpful advice throughout. She was consistently patient in response to my many questions and made what I found to be quite a stressful experience much easier. Everyone else I spoke to at Watermans seemed equally lovely and knowledgeable.

Excellent service from start to finish
Sophie at Waterman's did the conveyancing for my house purchase, communication was great, she was friendly and approachable, she kept me up to date every step of the way, the process was stress-free, everything went very smoothly.

Love Watermans…
We loved having Waterman’s manage our flat sale and purchase. Everyone was really good to deal with, easy to contact, reliable and we felt they worked hard to achieve our sale and forward purchase.

Purchasing a Property in Edinburgh
I found Watermans an excellent firm to work with when purchasing my property. Although the initial quote may seem higher than others available, they stuck to the quote stated at the beginning, and offered great service. Other companies may appear cheaper but they then tag on various "admin fees" which Watermans did not do.
Sophie was a highly competant, professional and approachable solicitor. She was always available (my Bank commented on how impressive it was that she returned my call so quickly when I was doing the somewhat stressful money transfer) and she was incredibly reassuring.

Absolutely Fantastic
I used Sophie and the rest of the team at Watermans to sell my flat. I was in a very stressful position with running my own business, my pregnant fiancé, and our toddler. I really wanted to be as "hands off" as possible, and just have the process taken care of. Sophie and Watermans kept me updated when necessary, but reassured me that there was nothing I needed to do.
I am very happy with the service I received from Sophie and Watermans, and would highly recommend them (and have!)

Outstanding Service: Professional, Excellent Communication,
I have bought and sold four properties through Watermans, and I can't speak highly enough of the excellent service they provide. The communication has been great, and the overall service is truly outstanding. I am particularly pleased with the assistance I received from Sophie Pigo. She went above and beyond in guiding me before, during, and after the purchase of the houses. I am very happy to have worked with Watermans, and I extend my gratitude to my friend who recommended them to me. I will definitely use their services again in the future and highly recommend them to others.

First-time Buyer Conveyancing - Excellent Service
Sophie Pigo of Watermans was my solicitor for the purchase of my first flat. Her advice, from initial contact through to getting the keys, was always clear, concise, and timely. As a first-time buyer, there is a lot to get your head around, but Sophie made all of the legalese understandable and made the whole process much, much easier to navigate. In a tricky (trying!) Glasgow market, Sophie's always friendly and available support made it much less stressful than it could otherwise have been.
I cannot recommend Sophie highly enough as a reliable and trustworthy solicitor, and would definitely use Watermans again. I will be strongly recommending them to any friends or family looking for a conveyancer.
Sophie - Thank you so much for all of your support and advice, I do very much appreciate it. And, despite my (very) understated response on the phone, I was actually completely delighted to have my offer accepted!!

Fully supported throughout
Buying and selling homes are stressful times I felt fully supported throughout , legal jargon was explained in plain English. I was confident in the process of both selling and buying

First Time Buyer
Sophie was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable.
Took us quite a few attempts before getting an offer accepted and Sophie was only quick to come back to us and available to for any last minute request. If it wasn't for her help this process could have been A LOT more stressful!
