I am a Partner and Head of the Family team with over 18 years’ experience advising on all aspects of family law, with particular expertise in the financial consequences of relationship breakdown. My work covers divorce and separation (including dissolution of civil partnerships), financial settlements, private children matters, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, living together agreements and collaborative law. I regularly advise on complex and high net worth cases involving company structures, family trusts, inheritances and intervenors within financial proceedings. I have extensive experience in complex private law children matters, including cases involving internal relocation and parental alienation, and I have successfully represented parents and grandparents. I also advise clients at the start of a relationship on pre- and post-nuptial agreements, as well as cohabitees on living together agreements and relationship breakdown. I am committed to supporting clients during what is often an emotional and challenging time, providing clear, practical advice tailored to their individual needs and aiming to achieve constructive, effective resolutions wherever possible. While I make every effort to resolve matters outside of court and explore the most appropriate process options, I am equally confident representing clients within court proceedings when necessary. My client base includes members of the medical profession, business owners, and professional sport and media personalities. I am a qualified collaborative lawyer, an active member of the Solent Collaborative Pod and Resolution, and have been recognised as a Key Lawyer in the independent directory, The Legal 500.
