Wonderful Service from Start to Finish
My partner approached Wolferstans while I was in hospital following a severe road traffic accident which left me with life changing injuries. He knew we would need help dealing with the aftermath of that and indeed Jill Burrows has been there for me right from her first visit to my hospital room in early 2019 through all the medical ins and outs of my case, including further operations and the ensuing recuperation in 2021, right through to finding the right barrister and finally settling our claim in early 2023 - nearly 4 years from the date of my accident. On that first visit in 2019, Jill said Wolferstans priority was to get me as well as possible and she and her team have worked extremely hard to see that happen, with no small hindrance from Covid and it's effect on the NHS, availability of medical specialists and on people's working practices generally. I was appointed a personal recuperation manager, Greg McDonnell of Health Care Management Ltd, who helped with every aspect of my recovery from Orthotics and Physio to later organising follow-up operations to remove some of the metalwork from my legs. Jill's choice of medical expert to assess my injuries and their effect on my future life was impeccable as was her choice of barrister to help us understand the legal outcomes of the claim. I should also mention Jill's assistant Ruth Zanetti who was always able to offer good humoured help promptly and totally efficiently. The whole team at Wolferstans made us feel comfortable but my special thanks go to Jill Burrows for always being there to talk to and for reassurance when things seemed insurmountable or our lack of knowledge about the whole process threatened to overwhelm us. I would recommend the firm of Wolferstans and Jill in particular to anyone who is unlucky enough to find themselves in a situation like mine. With the help she organised for me, and support for my partner too, we are now largely able to live life as we planned. There will always be some physical obstacles to deal with but I can honestly say I have had the best care and support possible to prepare me for the future and we are extremely grateful to Jill and all her team at Wolferstans for this.
