Kerry Gibbons is a trainee solicitor, working within the Family Department of DPP Law since 2021. Kerry studied for her LLB (hons), Masters, and Bar Vocational Course in Manchester (2007 - 2012). Kerry has experience working within the public family law sector, representing parents involved in Pre Proceedings and Care Proceedings as well as some private matters in relation to Child Arrangements. Kerry has experience in handling high volume case loads and supporting senior lawyers , partners, barristers and Kings Counsel in complex high-cost cases including non-accidental injuries and placement applications, progressing each case from start to finish and achieving the best possible outcomes for each client, providing exceptional client care whilst doing so. Kerry has a friendly, approachable rapport with clients and has a positive supportive attitude when working with people involved in domestic violence / abuse, drug misuse or those who have mental health / learning difficulties as well as those parents who were once looked after children themselves. Kerry enjoys being in court and will often provide support to counsel and clients in complex cases and lengthy trials.
