Adele is an Equity Director with the firm, as well as Head of the Residential Property Department and our Pickering office. She has worked in conveyancing and practiced property law for over 25 years and joined our firm in July 2017, having relocated to North Yorkshire from County Durham to be closer to family. She supervises the Residential Property department and helps to mentor our trainee solicitors and paralegals, whilst also managing her own caseload of a variety of matters. Adele specialises in leasehold property and complex title matters but deals with the whole spectrum of residential land and property law. With a vast amount of experience and knowledge, she can assist you with your property and land, no matter how unusual the deeds may be.

    Excellent support and patience

    I would recommend Crombie Wilkinson without any hesitation. My husband and I are in our 70"s and find technology very hard to understand. So we always had to be sent letters in the post. Whoever we spoke to including the receptionist treated us with respect and kindness. The whole experience of selling our house and buying our new home was made easier because of all the help and support we have been given. I would also like to mention how reasonable the costs were.

    Attention to detail and kept us fully informed

    Of the 9 house moves my wife and I have made this last 40 years this was by far the best from the conveyancing point of view. Adele and her team were always on top of everything and kept us fully appraised of the detail. We can’t recommend them more highly.

    Great Service!

    We bought our first house through Adele in 2020 so we used the company again for our recent move. We had some boundary complications with our builders (no fault of solicitors) and Adele has worked hard since February 2025 to resolve this complex issue to enable us to move. Adele has gone above and beyond (often in her own time) in trying to resolve this for us and we eventually got there. The communication is regular with others often commenting they didn’t get this much response from their solicitors. This was an extremely stressful process and Adele has stuck with this and done everything in her power to make it successful. Hannah has also been great in keeping us updated throughout us been stressed and listening to us!

    Sale of a house

    I have used Adele and her team a few times now for various house purchase and sales. She and her team, Hannah and Lynnette have been fabulous each time. I don’t need to chase them at all as I know I can safely leave them to it. They are super helpful, friendly and approachable and tenacious at getting the job done. I simply cannot recommend them highly enough, indeed I recommend them to everyone I know! Thank you all so much for another fast sales process.
