Dominic initially worked as a journalist in Preston, Southport, Wigan and Derby until hours spent covering various magistrates courts convinced him that his future lay in the law. He studied law at Manchester Metropolitan University and qualified in 1999. He took a training contract at Michael Wood & Co. solicitors before qualifying as a Solicitor in 2001. In 2002 he became a partner at The Ellen Court Partnership, personal injury lawyers, Preston where he remained for ten years. In 2012 he decided to set up his own firm, Dominic Thompson & Co Solicitors. Dominic specialises in all aspects of personal injury law and has helped his clients recover millions of pounds over the years. He also offers services in wills and probate, powers of attorney, civil disputes.
