Robert Wood qualified as a Solicitor in 2001 and is head of our Leasehold Enfranchisement department. In 2010 Robert qualified as a Notary Public and has a Notaries practice at our Maida Vale office. In 2015, Robert qualified as a property management and valuation surveyor and is the only solicitor/surveyor in the UK. Robert’s areas of expertise are Collective Enfranchisement (buying the freehold), Lease Extensions, Right to Manage and the Right of First Refusal (the freeholder offering the freehold to the leaseholders). Robert recently completed what is probably the largest Right to Manage acquisition in the country. Robert has a nationwide following in buying the freehold of leasehold houses which is a particular area of expertise. Most leasehold houses are located in Cardiff, Medway and the north of England. Robert has successfully purchased the freehold of leasehold houses on many occasions and is considered to be a nationally respected practitioner in this niche area of law. We needed some documents notarised for our company and Erin and Robert were able to provide exceptional service. They were very efficient, organised and provided all the information needed for us to make a decision. Thank you both very much and I look forward with working with you again in the future!
