Selling and buying
Simon Cooper has successfully completed the sale of my parent’s Highgate property and the purchasing of the Colindale apartment over the past year or so, ably supported by his paralegal, Ms Ayse Salih for a period of time.
The initial aim was to complete the sale and purchase together, and this was eventually achieved even though we faced numerous challenges along the way – ranging from buyer’s change of solicitor, buyer’s financial background checks, lender loan delays, tight bank mortgage deadlines and complex leasehold conditions.
Having started the conveyancing process in April 2022, we expected completion around Christmas, but for the above reasons, we finally concluded in May 2023. Simon has been very professional throughout the sale and purchase process, and has kept us well informed with emails, telephone calls and face to face meetings. Whenever he was unavailable, Ayse has been equally attentive, and provided us with answers, valuable information and assistance, both in person and over the phone.
Simon has shown resilience and urgency, and has demonstrated due diligence in trying to get the right results in tight timeframes, especially so in the communication with the other solicitors and interested parties. We are very grateful for his legal advice, responsiveness, support and guidance from initiation to completion, and would wholeheartedly recommend his services to potential clients.

Excellent Tailored Service
It was a delight to work with Simon Cooper of Simon Bodkin's Solicitors LLP on the sale of my leasehold property.
Simon was accommodating, straightforward and personable. My sale was complicated, and I relocated to Australia during the process, but Simon was able to complete all the legal work by communicating with me via email and phone despite the 10,000-mile distance between us.
There were many stressful moments and obstacles created by the buyer's conveyancer, and there were times when I thought I would never sell the property. However, Simon stood his ground and worked calmly and thoroughly to complete the sale.
I am happy with the outcome of the sale of my property and with Simon's service. I wholeheartedly recommend Simon Cooper as your acting solicitor; you will not receive a cookie-cutter solicitor, but rather one who will tailor services to your specific case. Give him a call!

Reliable, caring and efficient in every way
I have had the privilige of Simon Cooper handling my legal affairs for over 20 years before he joined Simons Rodkin and during his time with the firm and have absolute confidence in his abilities and would recommend him wholeheartedly. He handled conveyancing on purchasing my home back in 1999 and also a subsequent business property purchase. When the time came for my daughter to buy her first flat 3 years ago naturally that was entrusted to Simon who handled everything in his usual professional, reliable and caring manner. He really has beome our family solicitor. If you have a concern he is always available to answer your query promptly on the phone or by email . He is extremely thorough and pays great attention to detail which is so important in a solicitor. Additionally he gives you the attentive treatment which makes you feel that he really knows your case well and is personally concerned that you achieve a good outcome. Almost forgot to mention the extremely reasonable fees charged!

Divorce and associated professional contract review
I searched out local legal advice for my divorce, after a marriage of over 25yr. Simon Cooper provided excellent guidance and support, through what was inevitably a turbulent and emotional period for me, compounded by complications and inevitable administrative delays relating to the Covid situation. The legal advice was responsive, sensitive and both reassuringly comprehensive and yet set out in plain terms that made it very easy to follow.
Simon further advised me about related contract re-negotiations in my work as a longstanding NHS General Practice partner.
I am very grateful for the excellent support, guidance, access and professional level of interaction throughout what would otherwise have been a grim and difficult process for me, at a difficult time, and in difficult circumstances.

Property transfer
I found Simon Cooper very supportive in his dealing with the sensitive matter of
my transferring my inherited family property to my brothers which I didn't find easy.
He made sure that I benefited as much as possible and always responded to any queries quickly and in a supportive way.

I have been extremely satisfied with the services of my solicitor
I am writing a short note to say I have been extremely satisfied with the services of my solicitor who has been extremely helpful explaining everything to me. English is not my first language and Simon was very helpful explaining everything to me in detail regarding the conveyancing process. Simon will extremely easy to get hold of and very responsive.
