A Thoroughly Professional Service
I want to say in a more formal manner how pleased my sister and I were at the hard work and effort Simon Cooper gave to the recent sale of our mother's flat. It was not a straightforward sale but throughout the process, Simon was professional, thorough and patient. So thorough was he that a day before completion, when everyone assumed the matter was virtually over, Simon queried an anomaly in the small print of one if the many lease holder contracts and saved my mother a not inconsiderable amount of money. On behalf of my sister, myself and most importantly, my mother thank you Simon for your excellent service.

Selling and buying
Simon Cooper has successfully completed the sale of my parent’s Highgate property and the purchasing of the Colindale apartment over the past year or so, ably supported by his paralegal, Ms Ayse Salih for a period of time.
The initial aim was to complete the sale and purchase together, and this was eventually achieved even though we faced numerous challenges along the way – ranging from buyer’s change of solicitor, buyer’s financial background checks, lender loan delays, tight bank mortgage deadlines and complex leasehold conditions.
Having started the conveyancing process in April 2022, we expected completion around Christmas, but for the above reasons, we finally concluded in May 2023. Simon has been very professional throughout the sale and purchase process, and has kept us well informed with emails, telephone calls and face to face meetings. Whenever he was unavailable, Ayse has been equally attentive, and provided us with answers, valuable information and assistance, both in person and over the phone.
Simon has shown resilience and urgency, and has demonstrated due diligence in trying to get the right results in tight timeframes, especially so in the communication with the other solicitors and interested parties. We are very grateful for his legal advice, responsiveness, support and guidance from initiation to completion, and would wholeheartedly recommend his services to potential clients.

Excellent Tailored Service
It was a delight to work with Simon Cooper of Simon Bodkin's Solicitors LLP on the sale of my leasehold property.
Simon was accommodating, straightforward and personable. My sale was complicated, and I relocated to Australia during the process, but Simon was able to complete all the legal work by communicating with me via email and phone despite the 10,000-mile distance between us.
There were many stressful moments and obstacles created by the buyer's conveyancer, and there were times when I thought I would never sell the property. However, Simon stood his ground and worked calmly and thoroughly to complete the sale.
I am happy with the outcome of the sale of my property and with Simon's service. I wholeheartedly recommend Simon Cooper as your acting solicitor; you will not receive a cookie-cutter solicitor, but rather one who will tailor services to your specific case. Give him a call!
