Rowan is a partner and the head of the dispute resolution team. She advises on a wide range of disputes but particularly those in the IT and construction sectors. There is a close synergy between IT and construction project disputes which are often caused by poorly defined scope, mismatched expectations and delay and Rowan is able to draw on her experience in both sectors to advise clients on the most appropriate strategy to resolve their disputes. Rowan also advises on claims under the Commercial Agents (Council Directive) Regulations 1993. Rowan is experienced in dealing with substantial claims in the High Court and County Court and has resolved a number of cases through mediation and adjudication. Rowan arranges and delivers a highly successful series of presentations on construction-related topics as well as hosting a virtual round table for Heads of Legal in the technology sector. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the Society of Construction Law and the Society for Computers and Law. Rowan is recognised in both the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners legal directories.
