Licensed Conveyancer

I qualified as Licenced Conveyancer in January 2014 and initially joined Gotelee in 2013, left for 3 years to work at another local firm and returned ‘home’ in April 2021. I am able to deal with all aspects of residential conveyancing from buying or selling your existing or newbuild freehold or leasehold home or land to transfers of equity, re-mortgages and first registrations of unregistered land through to drafting legal charges, declarations of trust, statutory declarations, easements and covenants. My career began as a Legal Secretary in Rossendale, Lancashire, after returning to England in 2008 from a stint as a military wife living in Germany for 7 years. The Partner that I worked for became my mentor and close friend and encouraged me to study as a Licensed Conveyancer. I did this via a mixture of home and college learning all the while working and being a single mother to two young children. I then moved to East Anglia in 2012 and have worked for local firms ever since. I like to build strong lasting relationships with my clients. I particularly like steering more vulnerable, elderly or first-time buyer clients through the process, which can be daunting for them. I try my best to ensure that any communication or explanation of more complex legal terms or situations are explained as simply as possible. In my spare time I enjoy genealogy, gardening, looking after my hens and reading.
