Purchase of new build - I have recently purchased a property through PM Property Lawyers using Team Collins. Joanne was just fantastic and, after a very long road with developers, sealed the transaction for me. I cannot thank her enough as this was a particularly long process of around 9 months. She was quick to reply to emails and answered all questions I had. She got me through the process and gave some great advice. I also found Joanne to be very professional and approachable. Wonderful Experience
I turned to PM Property Lawyers for help with my house purchase, and they were very helpful, polite and quick with their work, informing us of every step along the way. Very organised and dealt with our queries professionally.
One thing I really liked about the process, were the initial conveyancing forms that we were required to fill online, as this saved the time of getting the forms printed or posted to us and then posted back to the lawyers. Another thing I liked was the manner in which the findings from the searches reports were presented to us, as although they had lots of detail, they were very clear and well explained.
If there's one thing I'd say that I didn't like about the process, it would be how at times replies to a couple of emails (not all) took around 3-4 working days, but this was understandable given how the lawyers have to deal with other clients as well.
But overall, a very positive experience!

New build purchase
Joanne and her team were incredibly professional and thorough throughout the whole process. I would always use an independent solicitor when purchasing a new build!

Helped me buy my first house

First time buyer
Team Collins have been great, dealt with all enquiries efficiently. Replied to all emails sent, great communication in regards buying my first home. All legal aspects well explain. Had a small issue with payment but was resolved immediately! Would definitely use again and recommend to my family and friends! Thankyou for helping me buy my first home.

Property purchase
I am a cash buyer buying a house with no chain. The lawyer, Joanne Collins and her team were brilliant. But the 5 week delay getting allocated to Joanne, was unnecessary, inexcusable and completely down to Pm property lawyers lack of management. Their system was unable to ‘cope’ with foreign banks, causing, again delays. Trying to talk to someone was a phone system of delays and even getting the bank details to pay PM was unnecessarily complicated! When eventually allocated to Joanne, It was a joy to call Joanne and for her to pick up the phone. My review is for my experience with Joanne, not the firm.

Process moved fairly quickly. However, communication not the best.
I would say PM Law is okay for the cost. We looked at a lot of property solicitors and they were well priced. The speed of the transaction was okay considering issues outside of thier control. However, as first time buyers we felt the communication could have been better, we had to do some chasing for updates. Worst thing for us was that we found out about a lease issue quite late down the line, which could have caused us major issues down the line if not highlighted by other parties.
Overall good service for the money but do have to chase them when should be the otherwise around.
