Took a while sometimes. Most of the time I asked for things to be sent, I was told “by the end of the week” but got sent it 3 weeks later. Overall though, lovely team and very helpful with any enquiries I had

Continuous communication and answered all my queries putting my mind at ease. Nothing was to much trouble. Made sure my mortgage application to completion ran smoothly and in the requested timeframe.

Abysmal

Basic mortgage took over 6 months to complete, due to countless items and checks missed until further down the line. One being a deed of variation costing £750!. Archaic practices insisting most documents were printed, completed, posted back, poor or no communication, no addressing of our complaints or unhappiness in email at all. No apology for any delays. Landed onto a default mortgage as our existing one then expired costing us £300 more ontop of what we were paying a month, which then turned into several months of paying that. This caused huge amounts of stress and worry. Case handed to a senior member in the lawyer team, no explanation given though clearly the last person could not deal with it proficiently. Quoted £452, billed for £1440 an absolutely shambles from start to finish and an absolute laughable amount to be quoted for such a poor service. Would not recommend whatsoever, cannot even select the lawyer responsible for most of the mishaps which speaks volumes, steer well clear

Overall good service

Slow progress at start of process but ended up with final team (Bart) being very helpful.
My only criticism is that you aren't always with same team which can cause delays and it wasn't always possible to get hold of people via telephone. Bart and Godwin my final team on the case were really helpful and kept me informed of progress through this long drawn out process.... Not their fault it was buyers lawyers who were not good. My earlier teams were not quite as efficient as team Bart.

We had a fabulous experience with PM property lawyers. They ensured everything went through before the increase in stamp duty rates and were with us every step of the way throughout the process. Many special thanks especially to Jack who was always helpful when we needed him.

I recently had a very disappointing experience with PM Property Lawyers. The communication was consistently poor, and the staff seemed to lack the necessary knowledge to handle my queries. Jake Berriman, in particular, stood out for his lack of understanding, knowledge, empathy and overall appalling attitude. Simple tasks took an unreasonable amount of time to complete, and they often failed to reply to third-party companies, leaving me to constantly chase them for updates. Overall, I would not recommend their services.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! The list of issues I've faced is endless. From never responding to emails to making promises of action that never materialized, forcing me to call every single day. I was simply trying to do an equity transfer, which took seven months and led to me being stuck with a 7.5% standard variable mortgage rate. They left paperwork untouched for months. On multiple occasions, they claimed delays were due to waiting for paperwork that I had sent weeks earlier, wasting a ton of money on next-day delivery. They NEVER reply to emails. I work a demanding job, so having to carve out time every day to call was both intrusive and stressful. Eventually, I had to escalate the matter to a senior staff member. Even after "completing" on December 18th, they held onto the equity transfer funds for a month without paying off the mortgage or the transferee. To top it all off, my management company contacted me, saying they've been emailing PM Property Lawyers nonstop because they haven't received any of the necessary paperwork. Now, I’m in breach of my lease. As a 30-year-old woman handling all of this alone, the stress, financial strain, and emotional toll this company has caused is beyond words.
