Samantha is a Senior Solicitor in our Dispute Resolution department, having joined the firm in 2015 and qualified as a solicitor in 2020. She has developed a strong expertise in a wide range of dispute resolution matters. Samantha specialises in complex Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act (TOLATA) claims, where she advises clients in disputes over the ownership and interests in property. In addition, she has significant experience in landlord and tenant law, representing both landlords and tenants in contentious matters, including possession claims and lease disputes. Samantha has a particular interest in property litigation, handling cases involving the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, specifically section 25 (termination of business tenancies) and section 26 (tenant’s request for a new tenancy), and leasehold enfranchisement matters under section 42 (lease extension claims) and section 13 (collective enfranchisement claims) of the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993. Her work also extends to general contract disputes, advising on breach of contract claims and other contentious matters arising from commercial and property-related agreements. With a commitment to achieving practical and commercially-focused outcomes, she provides tailored advice and representation, whether through negotiation or litigation, to resolve disputes as quickly, efficiently and most cost-effectively as possible.
