I am a Trainee Solicitor in the Family and Child Care department at Duncan Lewis Solicitors. I currently work under the supervision of Solicitor Paul Nuttall. Having joined the firm in August 2021 I have been exposed to a variety of Family Law Proceedings. My caseload has consisted of Pubic Law cases involving Care Proceedings, Child Protection Conferences (CPC) and Public Law Outlines (PLO). I have experience in assisting vulnerable clients with learning difficulties, substance and alcohol misuse and victims of domestic abuse. I also have experience in assisting parents in proceedings where there have been concerns of emotional and physical neglect raised by a Local Authority in respect of children. Furthermore, my caseload has also consisted of Private Law children matters, which has involved parents making applications for Child Arrangements Orders (both Lives With and Contact). I have assisted clients in making applications for Prohibited Steps Orders where issues have arisen involving the decision-making about or on behalf of children. I have also assisted on applications for Non-Molestation Orders against perpetrators of domestic abuse. I am fluent in Moroccan-Arabic.
