Having received a personal recommendation to use Linda at Ellicotts to facilitate the sale of our late father's house, from the moment I first communicated with Linda, I felt confident that this would prove to be a good choice of Solicitor, and we were not disappointed! There was the occasional 'chasing up' moment, but that is only to be expected given the complexities of arranging mutual contract exchanges, etc. Overall, working with Ellicotts was a positive experience and I would have no hesitation recommending them to friends. A job always well done
It's true you get what you pay for and if you're going to do something as important as purchasing a property or making a life-changing decision such as drafting a will, you need the peace of mind that it will be done proficiently and painlessly to an excellent standard.
I have used Ellicotts LLP for all my solicitor needs since 1999. They have dealt with all sorts of conveyancing issues for me including defective leases and I have always felt they are acting in my best interests. Partner Linda Fail is thorough and accessible, often calling me sometimes after hours to update me on important matters or discuss my options.
Ellicotts LLP are not necessarily the cheapest or the fastest but I feel they are the most qualified, often going beyond the call of duty to ensure that I, as their client, am always protected which is why I keep returning to them with my business.
I could not recommend them highly enough.

Excellent communication and practical assistance

5* service with sale of my apartment
Great service from start to finish. I had a very long drawn out sales process but both Nicola and Linda were great at supporting me throughout and being very patient as the deal played out! Would highly recommend Ellicotts!

Conveyancing
Excellent experience. Linda guided me through buying and selling my home. She offers a professional approachable service. Emails always replied to very quickly and communicatates effectively with others to ensure things are progressing as quickly as possible. I will certainly use this company if I need to in the future. Pricing was comparable to others in the area and worth a little extra.
