Laura invests time in getting to know the professionals she connects her clients with—whether that’s counsellors, financial advisors, mediators, mortgage brokers, divorce coaches or other specialists. One of Laura’s notable cases was Birch v Birch [2017] UKSC 53, in which she successfully represented the Applicant in proceedings remitted following a landmark Supreme Court decision. As a mother of two primary school aged children, Laura has become an expert at conflict resolution. Even when none of it makes sense…

I don’t think I’ll ever be able to fully express how grateful I am to K J Smith Solicitors. Going through the court process has been one of the most difficult experiences of my life, but the support, care, and dedication I received made all the difference. Sunny, thank you for your endless patience, understanding, and strength you truly went above and beyond for me, and helped me through moments where I didn’t think I could keep going. Laura, from our very first meeting I knew I was in the right place. Your guidance and reassurance meant more to me than I can put into words, and I’m so thankful for everything you’ve done. They didn’t just handle my case, they supported me as a person and helped me find strength when I needed it most. I will never forget everything K J Smith Solicitors have done for me and my family. I cannot recommend this firm enough.
