When I first met Kate Camm, I was less than a year out of an abusive relationship and absolutely terrified when I received the letter regarding court proceedings. I found Kate through a recommendation, and I now understand exactly why she came so highly recommended. From the very beginning, Kate brought a calm and reassuring presence to what was one of the most difficult periods of my life. She made an overwhelming and frightening process feel far more manageable, always taking the time to explain everything clearly, honestly, and with patience. Throughout the proceedings, Kate was transparent, realistic about what to expect, and exceptionally knowledgeable. Her understanding of the legal system and the court process was second to none, and I always felt fully informed and prepared. The trust I placed in Kate was absolute. After surviving an abusive relationship, trusting someone again did not come easily, which makes the confidence I had in her all the more significant. Her knowledge, integrity, honesty, and unwavering support meant that, even during the most stressful moments, I never doubted she was guiding me towards the best possible outcome. When Kate moved firms during my case, I did not hesitate to follow her. The confidence I had in her ability, judgement, and commitment to her clients meant that continuing to have her represent me was an easy decision. The only negative experience I had throughout my case occurred after Kate had moved firms. While she was on annual leave, I was contacted by one of the firm's directors whilst I was in hospital and was asked to make important decisions at a time when I was simply not in a fit state to do so. It added unnecessary stress during an already traumatic period. However, that experience only reinforced how exceptional Kate is. Her compassion, professionalism, and genuine care throughout my case far outweighed that isolated experience, and I never doubted that she always had my best interests at heart. My case lasted for a considerable length of time, during which I experienced several significant life events and personal challenges. Throughout it all, Kate never treated me as just another client or case number. She always took the time to ask how I was doing, remembered what was happening in my life, and showed genuine care and concern for my wellbeing. That level of compassion is rare, and it speaks volumes about the kind of person and solicitor she is. It was always clear that she genuinely cares about her clients, not just the legal outcome of their cases. Throughout my case, Kate consistently went above and beyond. She combined exceptional legal expertise with kindness, empathy, and unwavering support, helping me navigate one of the most challenging periods of my life with confidence. There are very few people who bring such dedication, compassion, and professionalism to their work. Kate is an enormous asset to her firm and an exceptional solicitor. I truly cannot recommend her highly enough. Thank you, Kate, for helping me find strength and confidence during a time when I needed them most.

I was disappointed with my experience with peace legal until I met Kate Camm towards the end of my court journey. Up until meeting Kate I felt the firm was inconsistent, I wasn’t sure who my lawyer was, I was told of 3 different solicitors and was never sure who was actually representing me. I didn’t feel supported at all. I looked around for other support but felt stuck as I was receiving legal aid. I can not thank Kate enough for her support and I would recommend her as a family lawyer. Kate listened to me and advised me well. I would only want Kate to represent me if needed in the future. Kate’s support and advise was clear, honest, friendly but professional.
