Lindsey Newman

Head of Operations

Lindsey is responsible for the operational management and strategic direction of Menzies Law. She helps us manage existing client accounts and grow our business, developing new client relationships too, many of which are with HR professionals. Having spent almost her entire career working closely with HR professionals and senior executives she is in a strong position to help us do that! Lindsey is well-respected for building long-term trusted relationships and also has considerable experience building and developing businesses and brands. Lindsey’s background is predominantly in HR recruitment. Some may know her as one of the co-founders of Purple House, a specialist HR recruitment business which she ran for 15 years and developed into a very well-respected HR Recruiter in the region. Previously she has worked for Bristol Law Society where she sourced lawyers for member firms and Carr-Lyons Search & Selection establishing their HR recruitment brand in Bristol. Before her move to Bristol she worked in London for a niche recruitment business called In-House Legal where she was part of a team recruiting In-House lawyers for blue chip clients in the UK and internationally. Interestingly, Lindsey’s degree was in Law at the University of Bristol. She then passed her Solicitors exams but sensibly decided she was not cut out for a career as a lawyer!
