I would highly recommend Trethowans and Katie Bickerstaff, Senior Associate, based on my recent purchase of a freehold flat. The conveyancing was not always straightforward and Katie was extremely thorough and knowledgeable in advising me on the challenges that arose. I have no hesitation in recommending Trethowans and will continue to use their services for all my legal matters going forward.
My sister and her husband recommended Katie to me and from the start, she had my complete trust and so I left her to take care of everything knowing she would do so with only my best interest in mind. This was my first ever property purchase and my head was all over the place resulting in me pulling out of my purchase twice. Katie put no pressure on me to complete and I am very pleased to say that I am now living happily in Poole. My only regret was not using Katie for the sale of our family home however, I have learned from that mistake. Trust is very important and I had that with Katie. Thank you Katie for standing by me.

Safe Hands.
I have used Trethowans for a number of property transactions and have been looked after by Katie who has been superb on all occasions. She is very pleasant to deal with and, even more importantly, very proactive, communicative and responsive; so I have always felt that she has my best interests at heart and that she has worked to get the best results possible, rather than simply just 'completing the job'. When parents needed some advice, Katie referred them to Verne who was also superb so Trethowans are now my 'go to' solicitors for all my personal and business needs.

Wonderful service
We used Katie when we sold our house in Poole in September 2018 , and bought one in Devon.
I always felt at any time during the process I could ring or email her to ask any question however big or small, she always made time to answer or solve all our problems. Also all the paperwork was dealt with very promptly. We would definitely use her agin in the future.

We are so thrilled and grateful for Katie's support in purchasing our first property earlier this year. Everything was straightforward, clear and as quick as possible from her end, and even when things turned sour with our vendor and it firstly fell through and we had to purchase a plot of land to secure the purchase, Katie's knowledge and advice was incredible and she was willing to support us throughout. We agree that this was the best money we spent out of our whole purchasing budget and would highly recommend her! Thank you for all your help, Katie!! We're so happy in our new home :-)

Excellent service - professional, courteous & contactable!
Trethowans were recommended to us and they acted us for us in the purchase of our new house. From our very first contact we felt reassured that we had chosen the right firm to use and decided not to bother looking around for other possible firms to use. Our solicitor Katie handled the purchase for us and the whole process from start to finish went as smoothly as we could have hoped for. Katie dealt with every aspect in a professional and very timely manner and gave us complete peace of mind that everything was being dealt with.
We have now asked Katie to act for us in the sale of our current house and we have also asked Trethowans to advise us on our wills. We have no reason or desire to approach any other solicitors.
