Her route to qualification as a solicitor was less than traditional. Starting work as a temp at an East London magistrates court she was very soon offered a role as a paralegal at a local law firm and took her exams to become a police station accredited representative. Encouraged by the firm’s partners, who were clearly impressed with her work, Nosheen went on to convert her degree to law and then took the Legal Practice course, both whilst working full time.
