Had to escalate complaint to Legal Ombudsman - don't use this company
I sent 3 letters regarding a number of complains relating to the purchase of a property, but Sparlings failed to reply to me. I had to escalate matter to the Legal Ombudsman so they could sort out the issue although this took 2 1/2 years to resolve.

Sale of A Leasehold Domestic Property
This proved to be a difficult and prolonged sale process, frustrated by an unconcerned buyer, ineffective buyers solicitor and the property management company. The sale (no chain) took 6 months from offer to completion, with a further 18 months for service charge retention.
Sparlings supported me throughout the process and were tenacious in pursuing the final exchange of contracts and completion. They also had to make further interventions with the buyers solicitor and the property management company at intervals throughout the full service charge retention period in order to finally resolve all matters.
I would fully recommend Sparlings Conveyancing Department services and will use them again when the need arises.
